DESCRIPTION:<p><span style='color: #000000\;'>What does the Bible really sa
 y about the LGBTQ community? This is one of the hot-button issues within t
 he church. The verses that answer these questions are not the most read or
  understood. </span><span style='color: #000000\;'>On February 8 and 15\, 
 Aliyah Kennedy will lead a discussion of the book   <i>Unclobber </i>by Co
 lby Martin. Together\, we will examine six biblical passages that are ofte
 n called the “Clobber Passages.” These verses have been historically used 
 by Christians as the basis of anti-LGBTQ theology. <i>UnClobber </i>reexam
 ines what the Bible says (and does not say) about homosexuality in such a 
 way that sheds divine light on outdated and inaccurate assumptions and int
 erpretations. We believe that if we are to use the Bible as a guide for ho
 w to treat our neighbor\, we should make sure that we read and understand 
 it first. Join Aliyah Kennedy after worship at 11:20 a.m. to look at these
  verses and talk about what it means for how we live out our faith. </span
