Childrens’ Activities

Nursery

Our Nursery is staffed every Sunday morning during education hours and worship. It is a warm and inviting place staffed by caring and compassionate teachers and teen aides. The Nursery is appropriate for children from birth through age 5. At 9:50, “Children of Note” meets in the nursery which allows older children and toddlers to explore music in comfortable and familiar surroundings. Following the Children’s Message in Worship, children 3 + may choose to join WeeKirk.

Sunday SchoolFaith Journeys

Grades Pre-K through 6th Grade. Faith Journeys is a workshop rotation designed Sunday school program which is a multiple intelligence based curriculum focusing mixed age groups on a Bible story for 3 or 4 weeks. During each unit the students “rotate” through a series of “Workshops” such as, Art, Drama, Science, Cooking, Games, etc. to explore the story in depth.  Journey’s is held in the Unger Journey’s Suite on the Lower Level.

WeeKirk

A child-friendly worship experience that is held from the conclusion of the children’s message in worship until the end of worship. WeeKirk takes place in the Gruber Family WeeKirk Room.  WeeKirk is appropriate for children from 3 years through 6th grade. In WeeKirk children are encouraged to explore their relationship with God through Story, Play,  Prayer, Journaling and Arts, as well as Mission and Stewardship.
