Fellowship Throughout the Year

Throughout the year the Nurture and Discipleship Committee hosts special events. Some of these have become popular traditions which are widely enjoyed by members and friends of LPC.

CarolingEvents to Enjoy

Rally Day

A thematic kick-off party for the new program year, the first Sunday after Labor Day.

Oktoberfest

A month long exploration of a special topic. Led by Rev. Butler. Each Tuesday meeting is preceded by a simple supper.

Advent Workshop

A Sunday morning activity designed to get us in the spirit of the coming holidays.

Caroling Party

A time of fellowship during the holidays when LPC members walk to nearby senior centers and sing carols for residents, then return to the church to enjoy a simple supper and hot chocolate.

Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner?

A fun-filled fellowship event designed to help folks get to know one another better.

Epiphany Party

A West Side Presbytery of the Western Reserve cluster celebration of the arrival of the magi. This event includes a Pot Luck Dinner and a Talent Show to entertain the kings.

Lenten Series

A Tuesday night exploration of a special topic, during the season of Lent. This class is led by Rev. Butler. Each class is preceded by a simple super.

Movie Nights

Several nights each year, the hospitality committee sponsors the screening of a family-friendly movie, complete with refreshments.
