God Talk: Making Ancient Church Vocabulary Meaningful and Relevant with Reverend Jim Butler

Jim Butler will present a five-part series discussing words like grace, sin, justification, repent, believe, Gospel, Christ, salvation, faith, Word of God, have either lost their power or have taken on new and sometimes narrow theological meaning in modern times. Each Tuesday, Rev. Butler will take two words and explore their original or more ancient theological message/claim. The goal is to touch the heart with Jesus’ message of God’s favor as we challenge the way we have been led to think theologically.
