The Mission, Outreach and Justice Ministry invites you to consider donating to The Haven Home. On Sunday, November 16 we will collect items for young mothers on their journey to self-sufficiency. Our assistance helps maintain a secure environment with educational programming and support services. Their mission statement: “We provide stable transitional housing and resources for pregnant and parenting women and their children, up to age 5. In addition to providing transitional housing, we offer mothers access to healthcare as well as personalized enrichment services to foster independence and move their families from poverty to prosperity.”
Besides monetary donations, requested items include:
- Diapers size 4 and up
- Baby booties
- Holiday outfits up to size 4T
- Bottle warmers
- Pacifiers
