LPC’s beloved annual outdoor worship service is back! The abbreviated 10 a.m. service will include familiar hymns, special music, readings, sermon and Holy Communion. Dr. Butler’s sermon will be “What’s in Your Backpack?” Park bench seating is limited, so everyone is strongly encouraged to bring a chair or blanket. Call the church office if you need help with seating.
Immediately following the service, we will enjoy a potluck luncheon inside the Woman’s Pavilion. Please bring a side dish, casserole, salad or dessert that will serve 8–10. If your dish requires refrigeration or warming, simply drop it off inside the pavilion before the service begins. The Fellowship and Member Care Ministry will take care of it and have everything ready for the meal when the service has concluded. Beverages and all tableware products will be provided.
In the event of rain, the service will be held inside the pavilion.
