Hand in Hand – Support Group

Hand in Hand will meet on Friday, October 13, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Reed Room. The speaker will be Dr. Sheryl Buckley, who will review the book Wearing God: Clothing, Laughter, Fire and Other Overlooked Ways of Meeting God by Lauren F. Winner. The author explores many of the metaphors we use in talking about God and how their use can broaden our understanding of the mystery which is our inexhaustible God and allow us to follow Jesus more clearly in our everyday lives. A lively discussion will follow.
